Funly
A few gems, then done.
What it is
Twelve short facts an hour. Then it stops.
Funly shows you a small number of short, true things — then runs out on purpose. There is no endless feed to fall into, because there is nothing left to scroll.
Running out is the feature, not a fault.
Where the words come from
Quoted, never rewritten.
Every card is quoted word for word from a published source, names that source, and links to it. Material is drawn from reference works, public bodies and scientific agencies, museums, libraries and archives, and public-domain literature.
The app refuses to publish a passage it cannot find in its source exactly as written — so nothing is summarised, paraphrased, or composed by us or by a machine.
What it does not do
Nothing to sign up to.
- No account, no sign-in, no password
- Nothing to type in — you open it, read, and close it
- What you have read stays on your phone and nowhere else
Getting it
Not released yet.
Funly is being prepared for Google Play. This page will carry the install link once it is published.
If you followed a shared card here, that is why there is nothing to tap yet.
